Mulberry has moved on beyond belief from the days when I used to buy from the collection (as in 'buy' for fashion retail, not just for me) and the reinvention is complete. Gone are the instantly recognisable 'country' grained leather handbags and totes, and the beautiful and wearable clothing collection I used to know. Here is a collection, again instantly recognisable, of iconic pieces virtually straight off the catwalk.

You may think it's expensive and I'd have to agree, however this year's Bayswater Bag or Biker Jacket will still be next year's favourite and valuable vintage in years forward. Using the (useful sometimes for justifying designer buys) adage that you should divide the cost of something by the number of times you wear it frankly you're bound to be quids in.
Keep a close eye on what's going on here and buy something if you can - it's a beautiful brand, and very British, and what could be better than that?
