Just because January is at an end doesn’t mean that the cold weather is, and whether you’re staying at home or heading for the mountains this is a great time to invest in a new parka or padded jacket - particularly as the prices can be very, very good.
Don’t expect to find every size available in every style here, that would be extremely unlikely, but hunt fast and you many just find that what you’re interested in is available in your size.
In particular of these above the red Jaeger puffer has most sizes available so you can probably expect the price to go still lower, however, having said that, you may also find that your size has gone. Definitely one to watch or snap up straight away.
The same can be said of the Jaeger parka with detachable lining. There’s one bad review which may put you off but Jaeger Fashion is usually very high quality so it may be well worth taking a look.
The Sessun parka above looks like a good deal to me although it is fleece lined so will shortly be quite warm. I noted that the House of Fraser website state this as ‘not waterproof’. The Sessun website states it as being ‘Water repellent’. Which makes total sense.
If you want something totally waterproof you can’t go better than Gore-Tex, so the Craghoppers Pac Lite Gore Tex parka would be a very good investment and keep you totally dry through all seasons.
