Quite simply, the latest travel tech, portable chargers, car chargers, wall chargers, make sure this never needs to happen.
I never travel without the following:
A lightweight USB charger probably around 3500 - 6000 mAh (Milliamp Hours or Capacity). Keep it charged and in your handbag/backpack and you’ll never be without charge again.
A larger capacity USB charger if that’s all you want to take for a weekend away – bear in mind the more the charging capacity the heavier your charger will be.
A car USB charger – this will not only charge up your devices, but also your portable charger, although probably not very fast. If you’re going to be travelling anywhere by car this is indispensable
A multiple USB wall charger with interchangeable international plugs. The advantage of interchangeable plugs is of course that you can use these anywhere. The disadvantage is that it’s all too easy to lose the different plugs.
Keep all of these together for travels, and separate ( other than your lightweight charger) so that they’re ready to travel with you at a moments notice and you’re not left searching for plugs and cables. And don’t forget to charge up your chargers overnight before you go.
With regards to cables, I keep 2 lightening and one micro USB cable in my travel tech bag always as well as the chargers to make sure I never leave home without them. I don’t think you can ever be too organised for travelling – as a travel addict I know these things……….
