Radiance boosting makeup has been on the radar for quite a while now with high luminosity bronzers and highlighters everywhere. So how do you choose? Every product, from illuminating primer – Stila – to Baked Blush – Laura Geller will add something to your complexion and if you don’t want to look ‘over-illuminated you need to be selective.
These are eight of my favourite products that offer added radiance. Stila’s illuminating BB cream with sun protection, Charlotte Tilbury’s lightweight and uplifting Light Wonder foundation for those who don’t want too much of a made up look, and Estee Lauder’s seriously excellent serum and concealer in one.
When you choose your concealer make sure you go for a colour that is a little lighter than your skin tone to brighten up your eyes. If you want more coverage with your foundation try Estee Lauder’s Double Wear Light Stay in Place Makeup which is rapidly becoming a favourite.
At this point you should have a fresh slightly luminous canvas to which you can add bronzer, blusher and illuminator. You can buy these all in on with Kevin Aucoin’s best selling The Neo Bronzer, or separately. I particularly like Urban Decay’s Afterglow Highlighter, Laura Geller’s Baked Blush in Tropic Hues and Illamasqua’s Beyond Powder Bronzer. Then it’s a swoosh of lip gloss, with Estee Lauder Pure Colour Envy a real favourite, and you’re done.
