A very good friend asked for this post. ‘Find me Christmas jumpers’, she said, and I knew immediately what she was after as two of my grown up kids, once a year, put on their version of the Christmas jumper, which happens to have flashing lights and the lot. I failed in finding one of those.
There are two kinds of Christmas jumper - those that are extremely bright and bold and that you will most likely wear once a year, and those a little bit more subtle, decorated with sequins and designs such as reindeers, snowflakes and mistletoe.
From doing a time intensive search for these I can see that many of them sell out fast, so if you find a Christmas jumper or sweater you really like you should snap it up. Some will go into the sale, most likely those that you wouldn’t want to wear. The most attractive and/or the most fun will be gone long before then.
On the whole the Christmas sweater won’t set you back a lot, as who wants to break the bank for something they’re not going to wear a huge amount? Having said that my favourite of all of these is the one at the top of the post, by Pure Collection and in pure cashmere. Naturally. It also comes in navy blue with Noelle artfully scribbled on it. I like that one too. It would make a lovely Christmas present too……..
