Black, White, Beige and Denim - Trends to Invest in Now

It seems far too early to be thinking of Spring fashion, but the sales, which started so early, are starting to look tired and the cheering thought of something new and fresh is quite irresistible.

Personally white, which is a big trend for Spring, is a no no to me, living out in the wilds of Bucks, travelling, or even here (where I’m writing from) in Dallas, there’s no way I’m going to wear something that’s bound to need to go to the cleaners after one wear, other than a crisp white shirt or t-shirt.  White coats and dresses abound.  As do bags and shoes.

Beige, sand, nude, call it what you will is still a slightly risky one although there are some extremely wearable pieces around, from Eliza J’s sleeveless lace shift to Michael Michael Kors sand leather tote which works at any time of year.  And an investment into a pair of leg lengthening nude shoes will never let you down.

Black of course is a staple and becomes a trend when you mix in the white as monochrome.  There’ll be a lot of that around this season and you can go for it right now.

And denim?  Dressed up or dressed down, denim is always du jour, so don’t hold back.
