Dress to Make a Statement This Autumn with Four Easy Pieces

Giambattista Valli Leopard Print Coat This autumn is all about standing out from the crowd and showing that you know what you’re doing.  Yes you can keep to the minimalist and monochrome if you want to – but to be on trend and in the know you can update your wardrobe easily and make a statement at the same time.

Four of the simplest ways to do this are as follows:  A leopard print Temperley London Printed Dress coat, a modern printed  dress, a statement/retro watch and a colour-block bag.

Take a good look at these pieces by Giambattista Valli (Leopard Print Coat), Temperley London (Printed Dress)  Michael Michael Kors (colour block bag), Shinola (Leather strap watch) to give you an idea about what will make you stand out from the crowd.

I’m not suggesting that you should splash out on all of these (although if you’re already lusting after any of them you should move fast as they won’t hang around for very long), but they give you an idea of which looks areShinola Leather Strap Watch strong this season.

Many designers have a leopard print coat in their arsenal, including Armani Jeans – this version is being snapped up quickly so don’t delay – and Biba

The leather strap watch, though a retro and classic watch, in its oversized state suddenly seems so modern, check out RoamerMichael Michael Kors Colour Block Bag’s classic leather strap watch if you want something a little less pricy.

With regards to the colour-block bag, Michael Michael Kors has to be a good choice, and the tan and white leather tote here comes in different colours.  Dune has gone colour-block too, check out their tri colour tote in tan, white and dark navy.  Not leather, and not Michael Michael Kors, but covetable just the same and selling fast.
Finally the dress.  What girl doesn’t need a new dress to compliment her existing collection.  If the Temperley London dress shown above is a little rich for your taste, take a look at Karen Millen’s ombre lace print dress, or Ted Baker’s pleated petal print dress
