Chuck out the black, grey and beige and wear something colourful this Christmas Day – preferably red, and stand out. Forget the fact that you may have to don the marigolds, walk the dog/s, eat far too much and want to curl up in front of the box. Not in that order.
Wear a knit or jersey in a flattering shape and remember that anything too ‘loose’ at the start of the day may not end up that way, and that lines and lumps and bumps may become more pronounced.
Your little red dress should of course be sleek, chic, sexy, flattering, stretchy, un-crushable and look equally good from the back when you’re in the sink with the marigolds, or with the boots or wellies if you leave the house.
All of these dresses will take you on to evening drinks so stop worrying about sleeveless and take a LBC (little black cardi) along with you for the day.
