Nude Shoes – 10 Pairs of Leg Lengthening Shoes and Sandals – and shopping for shoes in the USA
Nude shoes will make your legs look longer, depending on the height and style, and we all know that a girl can never have too many pairs of shoes.
A slim heel, a platform perhaps, and something strappy and high in a colour that doesn’t distract from whatever else you’re wearing and you should be quids in…..however, add a dark coloured wedge, and too many contrast embellishments such as studs and you won’t get quite the same effect.
Here are my favourite ten pairs of nude shoes for the moment – as I’m always on the hunt, loving high heels. It can be quite frustrating that just at the moment when you’re ready to wear nude, beige and cream shoes and sandals many of the stores have sold out of the most popular sizes – these are, at time of writing, still available in most but don’t wait too long.
Shopping for Shoes in the US
The US is a wonderful place to shop for shoes. You’ll find a huge selection of reasonably priced shoes and sandals from names you may not know, the full collections of brands such as Lauren Ralph Lauren and Michael Michael Kors, and all the superbrands – and they’ll ship to the UK.
It’s well worth having a browse as you can find shoes that, even with the charge of shipping and duty, will be less than what they would cost in the UK, or something unique that you won’t see anyone else wearing because they’re just not available here. Add to that the fact that with the US brands they pay a lot of attention to your being able to walk comfortably, with extra padding in the sole and however high the heel, and you’re bound to find something you love.
Shoes are easy on the whole to buy online as the sizing is very standard. Having said that, take care with very pointed toe shoes, you may need to go half a size up.
In the US shop the major department stores Nordstrom – (BCBGMAXAZRIA, Betsey Johnson, Steve Madden and Cole Haan), Neiman Marcus (for designer shoes by Gucci, Alexander McQueen, Miu Miu, Fendi, Balenciaga and more), Bloomingdales (think Tory Burch, Kate Spade and Michael Michael Kors) and Dillards for well priced shoes by US only brands plus Via Spiga, Coach, Donald J Pliner and Calvin Klein.
The choice is endless, the delivery swift, and the prices may surprise you.
