It may be something to do with the weather – cold – gloomy – wet, and we need cheering up, or because no one picks the perfect pressie for you like you do and jewellery shopping is pure therapy. A new piece of jewellery can add glamour, make a statement and just in general make you feel new, delicious and shiny so now’s the time to go for it.
Because Labradorite, Quartz and Turquoise are three of my favourite stones for contemporary jewellery I thought I’d have a look round the sales to find out what was on offer. It’s hard to find wearable pieces at reasonable prices in the sales, the best pieces have either disappeared or they’re not reduced (as they’ll never date), and those that are are frequently very expensive and/or not that wearable.
