Lace always seems to be one of fashion’s favourites and particularly at this time of year, when you can wear it from dawn to dusk. This season’s styles include everything from sleeveless and cocktail dresses to sweet fit and flare prom style dresses. Some are daytime to evening and others very much for partying in.
Whatever you do this season you need to have at least one lace or lace trimmed dress in your wardrobe, they’re flattering and, in the main, versatile and with nothing but a high pair of heels and an evening clutch can help you stand out from the crowd.
The best lace dresses aren’t so fitted that you can’t dine and then dance in them, and particularly if you want a dress with sleeves make sure that the lace has some give in it.
