Slip into Gold - Summer’s Favourite Shoe

Whether you’re travelling a lot, or partying in the garden at home a lot it doesn’t make any difference, like your favourite pair of boots in the winter, a shimmering, leg flattering pair of gold sandals has to be the favourite in the summer months.  And just a word of warning; if you want to snatch up a pair of these don’t leave it, some designs are already selling out and if you wait until you’re just about to leave you’ll most likely go without.

These are not the shoes you will wear to work (probably), nor those you’ll run for a cab in, but whatever you’re wearing, from a little black dress to a bright sundress these will never let you down.

If you’re packing and don’t want to have to choose between the tan, navy or nude then go for gold, best of all take different heel heights with you, from valet parking out to dinner gold sandals to the kind you can wear on the beach or out shopping.  That’s not to say it isn’t great to have a choice, but if you’re packing a bag and can’t take much with you then gold will do for everything.

High heels are inevitably the most glamorous, they’ll also be the hardest to wear for any length of time.  Look for a cushioned insole and/or platform if you can find it – these are the shoes that sell out the most quickly.

The mid heel is the one you can wear to work, to weddings and out for the night.  They may not give you as much lift as their high rise sisters, but will definitely be the most comfortable.

Flats are for wearing on the beach and sunshine holiday shopping then a poolside glass of champagne.  They work with everything but as one who always prefers a heel I keep mine for day.

Once again don’t leave it too late – these will not be there at the last minute……trust me on this.
