Two beauty products that seriously do what it says on the box are Guerlain Lingerie de Peau compact moisturising cream foundation and concealer and Terracotta Bronzing Powder.
The beauty, in particular about Lingerie de Peau, is not just that it has a lovely creamy texture, offers excellent, subtle coverage and has very good staying power, but that it contains a concealer as well, making this a great product for girls on the move, and working for everything from a mid-day touch-up to a completely fresh start. It’s also SPF 20.
Terracotta Bronzing Powder is part of Guerlain’s famous Terracotta range and offers, depending on which shade you go for (Blonde or Brunette) subtle and pretty colour or a deep bronzing effect. Because it’s a mosaic of pink, shimmer bronze, pale and deeper bronzing powders you can choose the effect you want. For a hint of all year round colour on a pale to medium skin tone I would certainly choose the lighter shade.
Neither of the above are cheap, nor, coming from a brand such as Guerlain would you expect them to be, but both are well worth investing in - beautifully packaged and a pleasure to use. And, as I said before, both are as good as, if not better than, it says on the box……………..
…………………..Still in Dallas and hearing about the wonderful weather in the UK which I gather will break just as I get back. Typical. Last night’s meal at Salum was as delicious as ever, and, as ever, their signature dish of roasted elephant garlic and goat’s cheese was superb. If you happen to go to Dallas put this on on your list. It’s an absolute must, but make sure you book first as otherwise you may well not get in.
