The Watch Debate-Which Watch Are You?-Toy Watch? Chanel j12? Fashion Watches, Designer Watches and More……..

I had a meeting in London this morning and I found myself looking at the watch that was being worn by the man I was meeting and realised that this is something I always do. You may as well without noticing or you may not give a hoot but one thing occurred to me; your watch says a lot about you. It reflects your personality, your style and what you like to do. Also just how much of a fashion victim you may be. Money is the least thing it talks about.

For example, I wear a Tag Heuer that was given to me by my mother many years ago. It is quite large, sporty and with a bi colour bracelet. It totally suits my slightly noisy personality (!). I also have a Toy Watch which I never wear, because although I love it (black with a bit of bling) it never seems to suit the moment.

I know several people who wear the instantly recognisable Chanel j12, who don’t just love fashion but want to look as if they do and men who wear beautiful antique watches they’ve been handed down by their dad.

Watches have very much become a piece of jewellery, to change as the mood takes or occasion demands and designers such as Guess, BCBG Max Azria, Emporio Armarni, Michael Cors and DKNY are all in on the act. Which of these grabs you? Some, such as the white Ice Watch, are extremely well priced, The DKNY bracelet watch is simple and classic, The Skagen modern and minimalist and the Michael Kors Watch (where there’s a complete range of styles and some great colours).

Then there’s the inimitable Toy Watch which comes in every colour under the sun plus bling filled black and icy white and on to the elegant and modern G-Timeless watch by Gucci, D&G’s Crystal set watch and Guess Watch classic gold coloured chronograph.

Prices of course go skywards and you can spend whatever you want but the joy of buying watches today is that you don’t have to spend the earth and you can have a different watch for every day of the week (in a different colour if you choose). What more could you ask for?

Take a look at the latest websites at www.thesiteguide.com - moving totally away from fashion and jewellery for a split second you’ll find the best of the Pet Product websites there right now. From mid January on I’ll be focusing across the pond to the best of the US webstores and how to get them to ship to you here.
