I know, I'm still on the subject of the cold but hey......as I'm sitting here this Sunday morning doing ridiculous things like completely changing the look of the home page at http://www.thesiteguide.com/ and writing a feature on female shopper stereotypes for a magazine I don't know very well (which may turn out to be fun - I'll let you know later), I thought I'd track down some very good places for gloves.
Amazingly this is quite difficult as apparently very few people want to sell a great range of gloves, possibly because most of the store buyers are buying for winter in the middle of spring and can't get to grips with the fact that we're all going to be suffering from cold mitts in eight months time or because they're concentrating on glam dresses and coats.....I really don't know the answer to that. Anyway, here are, in my opinion, the top five places to visit for gloves.
Aspinal of London
House of Fraser
Gloves on Hand (ignore the fact this is quite a simple site - there's a very good range)
Net-a-Porter (for designer gloves with studs, lace and Burberry check)
John Lewis - (for very good value and some interesting shades)

ps. I know these leopard 'gloves' aren't leather, but they're fab, aren't they?
